Cake for Makayla

Our friends asked me to make a cake for their daugher, Makayla (our goddaughter). The theme of her party was butterflies. So I made a butterfly cake for her birthday. It turned out pretty cute! I don't have pictures from the party, I forgot my camera. Oops.

Ben at the zoo... again!!

Since we got a annual family zoo pass for Christmas from Grandma Betsy, we get to go whenever we want. So we went again today. Ben had lots of fun and loves the giraffes and hippos the most.

Future Cyclist

Ben got his first bike helmet this weekend. We can't wait to take him on bike rides in the bike trailer. And then we'll have to start training him for the Tour de France. :)

Ben LOVES the zoo

Luke took Ben to the zoo and they had a blast. Ben loves all the animals especially the giraffes and tigers. Ben is looking at a sea otter swimming in the far right picture.

Happy 1st Birthday!

Ben's First Birthday was a hit. We had friends and family over for Super Bowl food (even though the game wasn't on at the time) and lots of fun. Ben actually ate his cake. I couldn't believe it. Here are some pictures of the big day. Happy 1st Birthday Ben!!
