We went trick or treating with our friends: Amy, Jameson, Jett, and Kai. It was really fun and I think the kids got the hang of it. Although Ben was a little hestitant to walk up to strangers...he was more than willing to take the treat!! Happy Halloween!
We had some people over for our 3rd Annual Pumpkin Carving Party and there were several babies so we brought out some of the baby toys for them. Ben saw his exersaucer and asked to "Get In" and so I put him in. He played in it for like 10 minutes and it was hilarious!!
Ben has been really interested in learning how to dress himself. He will shirt off and pull it up and ask for a different one "on". Anyways, he asked for his "shirt off" and grabbed Daddy's boxers. We showed him it wasn't a shirt, they were shorts and he wanted them on. So here is Ben with Daddy's boxers on. They're a lil big. :)
There's a new park that just opened up in the Stapleton development (old airport). We call it the million dollar park because that's what it cost to build it. Anyways, here are some pics of Ben & Jett at the park.
I think Ben got in a fight with his pajamas or something because the other day he woke up and this is how I found him. It was hilarious. Of course he wanted mommy to fix it right away (that's why he looks upset), but mommy had to get a snapshoot. Too funny!
We went to the pool everyday over Labor Day weekend because the pool officially closes after Labor Day. We had lots of fun and Ben is turning out to be a great swimmer. He jumps in the pool, blows bubbles, doesn't mind being submerged for a second or two. It's great! He's my lil fish. We also went to the park everyday. What a great weekend.
My sister, Nattie's best friend came to visit from Houston. Their daughter is 4 months older than Ben but they had fun playing together. Here's some pictures from our trip to Breckenridge last weekend. We had a lot of fun!
Here are some pictures of Ben in his Sunday's best outfit. We had just got out of church and he found this garden he decided to play in. So I took it as a photo op.
Ben is a climbing machine, so if we're not looking he loves to climb on top of the coffee table to watch "Elmo". Here's a couple of pics of him watching "Elmo" and pretending to drink wawa's from a cup.
Here's a picture Luke took of Ben and I after I just got done with my bike ride home. I've been commuting once a week on my bike to and from work. And Luke got me a new road bike so it's been great. Life is good!
